According to the Elvis Presley's Graceland web site, Elvis sold over one billion albums and singles worldwide, more than any individual or group in the history of recorded voice. If laid end to end, all of these albums and singles could wrap around the earth more than twice along the equator.

The Washington Post site provides lists of Elvis' 18 songs that reached #1 and 114 songs that made the Top 40.

In addition to a dancing Elvis and a portrait of the King with a twitching upper lip, the site contains a detailed Elvis filmology, and current TV listings of Elvis movies and related specials. Other features consist of an interview with guitarist Scotty Moore and a copy of The Washington Post's story of Elvis's death in 1977. The site also provides for contributions to an Elvis sightings database and an unusual list of other Elvis web sites, such as "the Absurdists," "the Truly Weird," and "the Impersonators."
