Upon its founding in early 1999, VIVA ELVIS declared that its first endeavor will be to create a directory of the many Elvis organizations that exist, whether in cyberspace or in the earthbound realm. The charter phase of this directory is the listing of all the Elvis organizations whose contact information is available on the Web. The second phase of the directory project will take place in the fall of 1999, and will involve organizations that have not yet made themselves known on the Web.
