I was starting to get a little confused about what I added to the site. So then, I got worried that if I was confused, anyone coming back for a second visit {or a third, or dare I hope a fourth?} must really have a hard time figuring out what was new. Usually, it's only a new link, or perhaps it may be a new entry on the Dear Diary page. Every now and then, a girlfriend will send me a note about one of her favorite shops, but I'd hate for you to slog through all the pages to find it. So, I've added this update page so that you can quickly see what's new since the last time you visited. I'm starting off with the day I redid the site design.



September 22, 1998 {the last day of summer *sigh* Time to put away the white shoes.} Totally redesigned the site, and I do hope you like it. Added this Update page, the Dear Diary page and the Mail Order page. Also added link to Lisa Dee's Closet on Links page.

September 24, 1998 Added Transformations by Rori and Sweet Mischief on the Skirts and Dresses page. Also added link to Sweet Mischief on Links page.

September 29, 1998 Added Take a Walk on the Wildside and the Wig Outlet on the links page.

November 1, 1998 Added apologetic note about not being able to answer fe-mail as often as I'd like to the home page. Added Sassy Wigs to the Wigs page. Added Chanel in Miami to the Makeup page. Also added link to Suzanne's Salon on the Links page. I *wanted* to add to the Dear Diary, but I ran out of time. I will the next update. I promise.

November 23, 1998 My goodness, what a month for places to shop for wigs. I added Wigs, Wigs, Wigs in Albuquerque, Showstopper Wigs, The Hidden Woman, World of Wigs, and Fringe Culture to the Wigs page. I also added links for four of these shops, Showstopper Wigs, The Hidden Woman, World of Wigs, and Fringe Culture to my Links page in addition to a link to The Glamourous Woman. I also added the Short Skirt to the Dresses page. And finally, I did add a small entry to Dear Diary. 

January 8, 1999 -- Added links to my girlfriend's sites on the links page. Be sure to check them out. Also added links to Marlene Klein and Sexy Shoes. Added Teddy's and the Underwoman on the Lingerie page. Tall Fashions and Footwear were added to the Dresses page, and One Hanes Place and other catalogs were added to the Mailorder page. I also rambled on in a couple of notes in Dear Diary.

February 10, 1999 -- Oh my goodness. Lots of updates this time. The biggest change, of course, is that I moved my site from Freehp.net to Fortune City. I do hope that you all didn't have any trouble finding me. Yahoo! now has the right address, and I'm slowly contacting the other search engines to make the change there. Hopefully, within a month or so, all will be right with the world and I'll be easy to find again. Other updates: I deleted the link to Sexy Shoes. When I first added it, I scanned the site and didn't really see any shoes for sale. I was in kind of a hurry, though so I figured if all my girlfriends buy there, there must be shoes for sale in there someplace. Since then, I've looked a little harder and still can't find the sales section. I also got a fe-mail from a girlfriend commenting on that. It's a nice site, full of pretty feet in, well, sexy shoes, but it doesn't really fit the theme of this site. So, I reluctantly deleted it. If anyone can tell me the site you buy shoes from, I'll add that one. I also added links to the Las Vegas Transgender Web and to Elegant Trash. Two girlfriends, Marybeth and Mary Beth, sent some shopping tips which I added to the tips page. I added Merle Norman in New Jersey to the makeup page, Treva's to the lingerie page, Vanguard to the dresses page, and Wig Pardise to Wig Page. Whew, after all that, I'm almost too worn out to go shopping {*giggle*}.

February 20, 1999 -- I added Dixie's Wigs to the Wig Page, Stomps and Threads to the Shoes page and many shops to the Dresses, Lingerie and Makeup pages. I added links to Link to Lola, Inc. and Stomps and Threads on the Links page. There's a couple of additions to the Shopping Tips page, and for my girlfriends with time to waste, another entry in Dear Diary.

April 16, 1999 -- I've been planning to update for over a month, but that pesky work stuff kept getting in the way. Anyway, on the the updates. Thanks to Melisa and Demi, I now have the right address for Sexy Shoes, so I've added that site back onto the Links page. I also added links to Emmanuele Lingerie, Naughty by Nature Fashions and No Shame. I added Secrets Boutique on the Lingerie page, Mr. Fashion to the Dress page and Payless Shoes to the Shoes page. Last, but certainly least, another small entry to Dear Diary.

May 7, 1999 -- Unfortunately, I've been too busy to add anything new, but for the first time since the last update, I looked at my site, and somehow...I didn't update it like I thought I had. So, everything in the April 16 update was really updated today.

July 2, 1999 -- Quite a few contributions this time. I've added Priscillas and Smokin Lingerie to the Shoes page, Expressions of Deborah, CC's Lingerie and Naughty But Nice LIngerie to the Lingerie page, Leticias D-Vyn Creations to the Dresses page, Tamara's Tresses, ebay.com and Mylady's Mirror on the Links Page, a shopping tip from Becky on the Tips page and the longest entry yet to Dear Diary {Honestly, do you girls really read them?}

August 7, 1999 -- Added Snow's Erotic Apparel to the Lingerie page, addded Carla's and the Golden Stitch to the Dresses page, added the Palace Shoe Store to the shoes page and added Transformation, Shoes and Stockings and Lingerie-Shopping.com to Links page.  And just a little wishful thinking to Dear Diary.

August 28, 1999 -- August has been a quiet month.  I added just one link, Meryl the dressmaker, to my links page and another note to Dear Diary.

October 10, 1999 -- Another quiet month.  I added Tall, Etc to the Dresses pages and links to Mastectomy Lingerie and Sassi Anne Johnson's personal site on the Links page.

November 13, 1999 -- Added Fantasy Fashions and Mystical Moments to the Dresses page, Added Especially For Me Boutique and SoHo Shoes to the Links page, updated the listing for Secrets Boutique on the Lingerie page and the links page.  And, yet another silly entry in Dear Diary.

January 29, 2000 -- The biggest change is that you no longer have to remember http-colon-slash-slash-yada-yada- yada...Thanks to the very nice folks at FortuneCity, who gave me my very own domain name, you can now reach this site just by typing www.silk-n-lace.com in your browser.  Other additions:  Everything Under the Rainbow and Wear n Again to the Dresses page; Intimate Hours and A Womans Tough to the Lingerie Page, and 10 Plus Ladies Shoes to both the shoe page and to the links page.  Oh, and there's some more aimless ramblings in Dear Diary.

March 18, 2000 -- Added Ninelives to the Dresses page, DreamDresser to the Lingerie page and Statuesque to both the Shoes page and the Links page. I also added No Regrets Lingerie and Mederi Makekup to the Links page.  And, just a quick note in Dear Diary.

May 20, 2000 -- Added Lindsay's Lace and Sun's Leather and Lace to the lingerie page, Chic Wigs to the Wigs page, added links to Mindy's CD Page, Renee Reyes, Lindsay's Lace, sissySearch.com, and the Enchanted Room on the Links page.  I was going to add something to Dear Diary, but just didn't quite have even the glimmer of a thought this time.  I *do* hope you will forgive me.

July 9, 2000 -- Added Scarlet Lady and Piedmont Boutique to the Dresses page, Wig Allure to the Wigs page and Piedmont Boutique, Femme Phallique and How Cool Footwear, and Apres Noir's Xdress.com to the Links page.

I also *finally* went through all my links to make sure they were still working.  Alas, the following sites seem to have gone into internet Never-Neverland, so I had to delete them.  If anyone happens to run across these sites, please do let me know where they are and I'll put them back in:  Crossdressers of Connecticut, The clothing store page of Forbidden City at Cleveland Live, Gay Wedding Gowns, Sweet Mischief, and Nancy's Rose House

July 15, 2001Well, it's been over a year since my last update. As I mentioned on the Dear Diary page, its been a hectic year and I just never was able to do anything here. I'm hoping to have a little more time in the future to add more. As for now, my only update is to add Amor Lingerie to the Lingerie page.
