We've been touched by Angels
who now in Heaven play
They bravely fought their battles
with courage every day
To some they were a precious child
and to others they were a friend
But to everyone who knew them
they were teachers the Lord did send
They lovingly taught us patience
and to value the lives we live
How to thank the Lord every night
for the precious gifts He gives
Our lives are so much richer
having known each and every child
Although their stories differ
each lived with dignity and style
Suffering much in their short lives
heroes brave they are in our eyes
Thank you children, we have been blessed
God needed Angels, He picked the best
