"Crashing Down"A Little Inspiration
Most of these poems are by me, but I'm trying to get some by other writers. Sorry so many of them are depressing, but I'm working on some up-beat ones. If you have written any poems that you would like to appear on this site, you can e-mail them to me at cjshay@altavista.net. Thanks!
You didn't think it was possible,
for everything to go wrong at once.
Your entire world came crashing down,
and you were left standing in the dust.
In one foul swoop,
everything was destroyed.
Your illusion of the world was shattered,
all in the blink of an eye.
Everything was different.
Everyone had changed.
Nothing was like it was before,
and there was nothing you could do to change
it back.

"Honesty"
Being honest may be one of the hardest things
that you'll ever have to do,
and it will change your life forever.
You will find friends you never knew you had,
and loose ones you thought would always be around.
It may be tough at first,
but eventually things will improve.
Because being true to yourself and those you
love,
will always feel better than hiding in the dark.
